How to Select the Appropriate Cutting Method for Carbon Steel Ellipsoidal Heads with Cutting Holes?
Material Thickness:
Thin plates (≤20mm): Laser cutting or waterjet cutting is preferred;
Medium-thickness plates (20-100mm): Plasma cutting offers better cost-effectiveness;
Thick plates (>100mm): Waterjet cutting or machining (e.g., drilling + milling) is recommended.
Hole Diameter Precision Requirements:
High precision (within ±0.1mm): Waterjet or laser cutting;
General precision (around ±0.5mm): Plasma cutting.
Production Batch Size:
Small batches/customized orders: Waterjet or laser cutting (high flexibility);
Large-scale production: Plasma cutting (high efficiency).
