What are the influencing factors of flame cutting quality

Flame cutting is a way of steel plate cutting. In flame cutting, there are many influencing factors, such as:

Oxygen purity: if the oxygen purity is insufficient, the cutting speed will be slower, and the combustion effect of the metal will be worse, thus affecting the flame cutting quality.

Impurity: if the metal contains too much impurities, it can not be cut by flame.
Gas purity: if the gas contains impurities, it will also affect the flame cutting process.

Cutting speed: too fast or too slow is not good. If the speed is too fast, flame cutting will be interrupted. If the speed is too slow, cutting seam will be widened, which will affect flame cutting quality.

In flame cutting, the most important tool is cutting torch, which is divided into manual cutting torch and machine cutting torch. The latter is used in various cutting machines. But no matter what kind, there are two kinds of cutting torches: suction cutting torches and equal pressure cutting torches. Among them, suction cutting torches are the most widely used ones, which have low requirements for gas pressure, low pressure and medium pressure. The equal pressure cutting torch is not suitable for low pressure and medium pressure.
