Is preheating necessary for carbon steel plate cutting
Is preheating necessary for carbon steel plate cutting? Why preheat? What is the preheating temperature? How to master the preheating temperature range?
Preheating is recommended for carbon steel plate cutting. The purpose of preheating is mainly to reduce the cold cracks caused by steel plate cutting. The preheating temperature depends on the steel grade, thickness and hardness of the steel plate. The thicker the steel plate is, the greater the hardness and the higher the steel grade, the higher the corresponding preheating temperature will be. The preheating temperature should not exceed 200 ℃!
