China's exports of steel plate, angle steel and section steel increased in April

According to the latest data of the General Administration of Customs, in April 2020, China exported 4.07 million tons of steel plates, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%; from January to April, China exported 12.91 million tons steel plates, a year-on-year decrease of 8.2%.

In April, China exported 310000 tons of angle steel and section steel, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%; from January to April, China exported 1180000 tons angle steel and section steel, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%.

In April, China exported 820000 tons of steel bars, down 17.9% year on year; from January to April, China exported 2.87 million tons steel bars, down 29.7% year on year.

In April, China exported 170000 tons of steel wire rod, down 8.1% year on year; from January to April, China exported 580000 tons, down 11.4% year on year.
